“Prepaid Cards Are Part of Banks’ Efforts to Offset New Regulations on Fees”

“J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. said it will start selling prepaid debit cards in its 5,541 branches this summer, accelerating the banking industry’s push to generate revenue with new fee-based consumer products.”

Chase pitches plastic cards hoping to get a home run in revenue whereas ┬ábaseball pitchers pitch balls to batters hoping they don’t get to first base.
